No-Limit Hold’em Poker- Who is Phil Ivey?

Phil Ivey has been branded as the best poker player on the planet by quite a few of the top professionals. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and moved to NJ before reaching turning 1. His grandpa taught Phil one cent-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From then on on, Phil was addicted to poker and wished to pickup anything he possibly could about the game. Phil routinely would tell his grandparents that he was going to be a professional poker player. Phil started playing seriously after getting a fake ID with the name of Jerome. He practiced his skills at the casinos of Atlantic City. The beginning number of years for Phil were a teaching period and winning wasn’t a regular outcome at the time. He became known at the 2000 WSOP where he achieved two final tables and came away with his 1st World Series of Poker bracelet, in a two dollar, five hundred Pot-Limit Omaha game. He decided to take his game to the next level and headed out west to Vegas. He continues to participate in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the greatest players on the planet. Phil credits his success to discipline and an undying love for the game of poker. He states that he is learning every day and is quite humble about his success. He admits to making mistakes in each session of poker and always strives to improve.
