Amateurs Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in an excellent game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the dealer, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers compete against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, starting players don’t have to worry about other, more advanced people winning their money.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game pace, rookies are able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty decisions.

It’s also simpler to enjoy for an extended time with only a little amount of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands has to be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the croupier is given 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
